How to take care of oily skin

This is a common issue, especially for teens. When your hormones are active, the skin produces more oil.

If your skin is oily then you need to take special care of it. Oily skin has the pores more open which means a higher rate of dirt, blackheads and acne is possible.

To avoid breakouts try following these steps:

Make-up remover: Use it every night to remove excess make-up that could clog pores.

Wash your face: In the morning and at night. Use a special soap that is for the face and targets oily skin types.

Facial Toner: There are lots of these at the store. After washing your face apply this toner. It will get rid of any extra make-up left on the skin and rid the skin of oil at the same time leaving you feeling fresh.

Creams: Even though it seems redundant, oily skin also needs a facial cream once a day. If you wash your face a lot to get rid of oil and then don't use a light cream, your face will produce double the oily to compensate. Find a facial cream for oily skin.

If you follow these easy steps you will notice how you skin looks healthy and your pores begin to shrink, and hopefully you will also have fewer breakouts.
