How to be polite with your cell phone

In order to be polite when you use your phone, there are a few simple rules you should try to follow

VOLUME: It is not nice for the people around you to hear a ring so loud that it seems as if they are in a club. Turn it down. Also, put it on vibrate, which is probably the best way to know you are getting a call

TURN IT OFF: There are some places where your cell phone should be left off. If you forget to do this you will upset people. Some places are: the movies, the theater, a concert, the doctor, in class

PAY ATTENTION TO THE PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU If you are out with friends it is best to pay attention to them and not be sending SMS and making calls all the time. This is really rude and could ruin a friendship

EARPHONES: Cell phones with MP3 come with earphones. Use them. Most of the time the public does not share your musical taste and does not want to hear your songs

CONVERSATION: Remember to be careful when you are talking on your phone. If you are surrounded by strangers you may want to think twice while having a private conversation

Also, try not to yell into the phone, or use language on the phone that might bother the people around you
