With all the beauty articles out there, we are sure that you have heard about skin type at least once. There are 3 main types: oily, dry and mixed (and you could also add sensitive to this list).
It is really important to know what sort of skin you have because if not you will not be able to choose the right sorts of beauty products. But how can you figure it out?
First thing is first, wash your face with facial soap and dry it well with a towel. Do not apply any creams or make-ups.
Let a couple hours pass and then in front of the mirror, take a good look at three zones of your face, the nose, forehead and cheekbones.
Oily: When you look in the mirror if these areas of your face are oily after just a couple hours, your skin is prone to being oily.
Dry: If after a few hours your skin is tight, then you are not producing enough oil. Your skin is in the dry category.
Mixed: If just your forehead and nose are oily and the rest of your skin seems dry, then your skin is mixed. The area that makes up your forehead and nose is known as the'T' zone.
